Occ' Merchant. Burdus was born abt 1794 and died 20 May 1858. He was a ship's merchant and he and his wife mary had 9 children, two of whom are buried in the same grave as their parents. His second son, another Burdus, like son No. 1, migrated to Australia and died there.
