Gravestone Photographs Resource: send a message to someone who requested a photo

Send a message to the person who requested a photo of the grave monument of Jannion Steele Elliott with the following comment:

I am researching the relationship between the pioneering Palaeolithic archaeologist Worthington George Smith (1835-1917) and a small group of amateurs he took under his wing. J.S. Elliott was one of this group. He acquired a considerable amount of archaeological material from Smith which he stored at Dudley with the intention of it being used as the foundation of a new museum at Bedford. It is said that according to his will some material was to be moved from Bedford to Luton on his death. (This is not recorded in the copy of the will I have but was, perhaps, in a Letter of Last Instructions.) The accession register at Bedford shows that this transfer took place. This research is to form part of a paper to be submitted to 'The Antiquaries Journal' and will be the subject of a talk at The British Museum later this year.
