American enquiry to Newton Abbot Museum requesting memorial place of Charles Daniel Frost, Royal Navy Painter 1st. Class, Service No: D/MX 45136Died: 10/12/1941, aged 36, on H.M.S. Repulse, sunk near Kuantan on the east coast of Malaya, by Japanese torpedoes and bombs.Not on Newton's war memorial, but he is at Manaton also, apparently, Buckfast.
