Send a message to the person who requested a photo of the grave monument of Alfred Vass Douglas with the following comment:

My father John Vass Kirkwood was adopted at birth, his mother was Sarah Vass born Knockbain. I believe this is his brother who he never knew he had. We have just come home from a holiday in the Black Isle and Eastern Seaboard villages. I have photographed many VASS gravestones and I am now trying to form links. We will have to go back many times as there are so many cemeteries. The Tarbet Discovery Centre were a great help the lady there gave me a long list of cemeteries where I would find the name Vass.
