Spelling is Freestun. Cdr Humphrey May Freestun was the Eldest Son of Edward and Mary (nee Lockyer) Freestun of Primrose Hill, Tramore, (near Waterford), County Waterford, Ireland. Cdr Freestun was the eldest brother of Edward Freestun (b1802) and Charles Freestun (b1804), both who emigrated to Tasmania, Australia, in 1830, and also the eldest brother of William Lockyer Freestun (b1805), MP for Weymouth 1847-59.
