Served with the Royal Field Artillery of the British Army he was born on the 13th of July 1884 at Windsor Victoria south Australia. His parents were Osmond Henry Wilson and Annie Melina (nee Harris- but known as Mowbray-her adoptive parents). He was travelling to Switzerland for treatment of TB but died before he reached there. It is said also that he served with British forces in the first world war in Egypt and France( where, it is said he was badly gassed.
