25th July 1959 Ada Nickson and Nellie Jones were sisters and the daughters of Henrietta (nee Riding) Nickson. Their Grandfather was John Riding who died in 1990 and is also buried in the Balmoral Cemetery. John was the oldest nephew of Thorpe Riding who was prominent in the settling of Bulimba and whom Riding Road and Thorpe Street are named.
