Pilot and aviation pionneer. He began his career in the French Air Force and then joined the Farman company. In 1931 he broke the speed record for light aircraft over a 100km distance; and broke the speed records the same year for the flights to Madagascar and Capetown. He was the mechanic to the pilot Maryse Hilsz; and died duruing a test-flight at Chateaufort in 1934.
