Harry Sharon was the son of Florence Trevis (daughter of Lloyd Trevis; who was one of the main developers of the Central Pacific Railroad; and later chairman of the Wells Fargo Bank ) and her second husband; Frederick William Sharon; son of William Sharon; Senator of Nevada USA (1875-1882). Frederick's sister Florence Sharon married Sir Thomas Fermor-Hesketh Bt and was the mother of the 1st Lord Hesketh; who married his first cousin; the half-sister of Harry Sharon by Florence Trevis' first marriage.
