The follow note is stored against François Delimal record:
Delimal joined the French Resistance in 1942; working principally in eastern France for the Bureau des Opérations Aériennes; including covering the parachute drops of Allied agents; and radio transmissions. In September 1943 he was sent to train in London; and returned under the code name Faraday to coordinate the parachute drops across a large sector of eastern France. He was arrested by the Gestapo in March 1944; and committed suicide whilst being held for interrogation. His remains were buried in this grave after the war.
