I believe John was the son of Raymond and Lilian Jarred and was born in in the Norwich Outer area in the first quarter of 1942. He married Edna Beales in Fakenham in 1963 and they had two children - Susan and Anita. I think John may have been a serving soldier and died in Moenchengladbach, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany, aged 24. All this information needs confirmation from John's family who I have been unable to trace
