British Navy Richard Ethersey was born on the 14th October 1807. Ipswich Suffolk. Parents Richard & Elizabeth Sharp. He was the 5th born child out of a family of 9 children. Unmarried. Died 16th March 1857 Bushire, Persia. His father, Sir Richard was the Commodore of the Persian Gulf Squadron for the British Navy during the War. His brother James, wife & children emigrated to Australia in 1853.
