Frances,one of H.M and Mary Bazeleys' many children married Cecil Archibald Smith a youngest son,a civil engineer of Madras, of Link House,Westward Ho!and of Flagstaff House,Northam.Cecil's father was a GP and surgeon of Bury St. Edmunds whose eldest son Charles, an Indian army colonel,lived and died at Fairholme,Northdown Road,Bideford and older daughter Caroline Harriet, married the famed architect Sir Arthur William Blomfield [one of the successful offspring of Charles James Blomfield, Bishop of London]. Frances Bazeley and Cecil Smith's daughter,Mrs.Cecily Sparling, outlived her husband,the son of an Indian army colonel of 11,Kingsley Terrace, Westward Ho!and an Indian army vet (while living in Chope Road,Northam)until as recently as 1986.
