In Memory of JOHN BATTLEY who died Jny 20th 1858 aged 80 years. Born 10th Feb 1778 His Baptism was on 30 March 1778, Whiting St Congregational Church, Bury. A third person in same grave reads: Also of JOHN BATTLEY son of the above, died Dec 17th 1863, aged 65 years. He died at Bury, St. Edmunds, Suffolk, England.
