Charles Clarke died 9 June 1878, aged 47. He was baptised on 8 May 1831, at Bodham, the son of Thomas Clarke shoemaker. Charles was also a shoemaker. Thomas lived in Sheringham from approx 1834. By 1870, Charles had moved with his wife and family to Grimsby, where they stayed, but he died in Lower Sheringham, where his father still lived. Thomas died 7 months after Charles.
