This Gentleman was a solicitor in Stratford upon Avon and sired 7 children that I know of. His solicitors firm was founded in 1828. He entered into a partnership with another solicitor, John Slatter in 1843 and in 1865, William Hobbes, Robert's son, joined the firm. Robert's father, also Robert (1773-1817), was Catherine Middleton's (married to Prince William) 4th. great grandfather.
