Albert William Crack was the eldest son of William Crack and Fanny Cross. He was a grandson of Thomas Crack and Eliza Eden. The Suffolk Baptism Index from the Thingoe Deanery 1813-1900 has his being born on 24th November 1877 and baptised at St Leonards Church, Horringer on 25th December 1877.
