Service No. 404005. Royal Australian Air Force. Enlisted 26th April 1940. Born 21st June 1920 in Brisbane , QLD. On the night of 24th September 1944 the aircraft (Tiger Moth) he was piloting went missing on a flight between Daru and Horn Island. Also on board were W.O. Neil Draper KELLAS and W.O. Anguau DE LAS. No bodies were recovered. Memorial at Port Moresby Memorial , PNG. Son of Frederick Carlton Curr and Maude Alice Curr , of Corinda , Queensland.
