Enlsted 10 November 1939. Served in Palestine , Egypt and Libya with 2/11 Bat. 19 May 1940 - 4 Oct. 1941. Transferred to 6 Div. Signals serving in Syria and Palestine from 5 Oct 1941 - 14 March 1942. Returned to Australia 28 July 1942. Death by suicide in Sydney 8 December 1942.
