Pioneer and Government resident of Somerset. Married Sister Werna Reid , Matron of Thursday Island Hospital , 14 March 1936........Erected by his loving Wife Werna and Sons Graham , John and Bruce Vidgen. This momument is a short distance from the other plaque in the Jardine Cemetery and is next to the site of where the Jardine Family homestead once stood.
