Medical Officer at Kavieng. Reported P.O.W. in Pacific Islands Monthly Nov 1942 (NAA A518 , DS16/2/1 Part 1 P.209) Reportly drowned 1st July 1942 with the sinking of the Montevideo Maru (NAA A518 GR16/2/1 P86) but there is now doubt regarding this information given by the Japanese.
