Emily Sheppard ,mistranscibed as Emma as the name on the tombstone is hard to read, was christened in Franlingham in 1817. She was the daughter of Elizabeth nee Catchpole and John Burley of Theberton. Emily married Henry Shepherd or Sheppard , a widower,in Theberton. They had three children:the second of whom was Augusta Mary Ann christened in 1850.my great grandmother.
