This is Dorothy's daughter. It looks very much as though Dorothy's grave lay unmarked (not noted on the Cumbria Family History list of Arnside MIs published 2006) and this situation continued until Lucy decided to be buried there - and then there was a new gravestone. Sadly Dorothy died when Lucy was very small and her brother Frank Ripley Pearson had just been born. Their father then remarried. Lucy and Frank were brought up by their aunt and uncle in Arnside (Lucy & George Dickinson who are also buried in Arnside Cemetery).
