Euphemia Richard Downie was the third daughter of William Downie, carver and gilder, St Andrews, and his wife Ann Nicol. She married James Jamieson on 13 July 1850 in St Andrews and St Leonards. James was a photographer in Lothian Street, Edinburgh in the 1881 Census. Gravestone inscrption: IN REMEMBRANCE OF EUPHEMIA R.
