John E. Hanwell was the Son of John and Jane Hanwell (nee Dobson). He was born at Sculcoates on 22-Oct-1855 and was a Fisherman who drowned off Flamborough near Bridlington in 1896. He was the Brother of Lucy E. Evison (nee Hanwell), George Ner Evison's Wife.
