Sensei Marama STIRLING was an accomplished and high level martial artist, teacher and competitor. He was accepted into the Kudokan Judo Academy in Tokyo city, Japan from around 1959- 1985. He was a Master of weapons (Kobudo)and Judo and Karate. He worked at the Owairaka Youth Remand Centre, Mt Albert Auckland from 1986- 1991 as the PT Instructor. He was a humble man and an inspiration for me. He is a reason why I am still doing martial arts today. Moemoea e te rangatira, I've located you, I miss you.
