The follow note is stored against Philip Winsor record:

Philip and Ellen Winsor were both born in Devon; Philip Winsor (*ca 1834 Ermington,Devon)and Ellen Winsor (nee Hard)(chr.24-04-1836 Ugborough,Devon), daughter of William Hard and Mary Martin. We thought that Philip and Ellen had 7 children, but now thanks to the grave monument details and subsequent information in the 1871 census, we've found 1 additional child, Francis William, thank you. In the 1841 census William Hard, wife Mary Martin and 9 children live at Godwitt Cottages, Ugborough,Devon. As far as we know, Philip, his siblings and parents live at that same time at Turnpike Gate Cottages, Ugborough,Devon. Philip, Ellen and 5 children then move from Devon to Yorkshire, where 3 more children are born, 1 in Normanby and 2 in Eston.
