Hester Fear was born Hester Perry, daughter of John Perry and Elizabeth Cox in Stowey, Somerset, England in 1796 and Christened in St. Nicholas and the Blessed Virgin Mary parish in Stowey on 9 Sep 1798. She was married to George Fear in Bedminster, Somerset, England on 18 Mar 1819. They are the parents of 2 sons, Abel and Henry. Hester died in Hinton Blewett, Somerset, England on 16 Feb 1879 and is buried there.
