PVT; 426 MED COLL CO. New Hampshire. Donald Irwin Milligan was born on Aug. 3, 1918 in Berlin, New Hampshire. He was the son of Samuel Herbert Milligan and Cecelia Armstrong. Samuel was originally from Prince Edward Island, Canada. Donald served as a private in the US Army in the 426th Medical Collecting Company. Donald was killed in action on July 15, 1944 and is buried in the Normandy American Cemetery in Colleville-sur-mer, France.
