I believe that Thomas Harper may have been the son of John Harper, b, 1764, and Hannah Hewitt, b 1772. He married Isabella Exley, b 1788-1858, and they had children, Joseph, b 1817;Thomas, b 1819 shown on memorial marker as d 1856; Henry, 1820-1884; Hannah, b 1823; Elizabeth, b 1825 also on memorial marker as d 1838; Sarah Haper, 1827-1911; Charles, b 1829 on memorial marker as d 1863; and William Exley Harper, 1831-1908. Thomas Harper was buried in Rawdon on June 14, 1867.
