Born at Llangunnor. Served for 25 years in the 1st Battn. , 1st Royal Regt. Of Foot. Wounded at San Sebastian and at Waterloo in 1815. On the Centenary of Waterloo a wreath was laid on this grave by General Sir James Hills Johnes and this stone was erected.
