1917251892Service Number - 5006. Enlisted 11th February 1916 (enlisted the same day as his brother , Percy) 49th Australian Infantry Battalion. Died of wounds 5th February 1917 in France. Buried at the Bulls Road Cemetery , Flers , Picardie , France. NOK. Father: William Dingle , Sister Mrs Mary Alice Weston then Brother: James Dingle. Edward's brother , Percy Dingle died of pneumonia in the Dury Military Hospital , Amiens 2nd November 1918.
