Family Tree
(requested on 27 11 2011)
I am seeking information on the Paver family of the area of Sherburn, Yorkshire. My maternal grandfather was Frederick Paver (of Morley and Sherburn), son of Alfred Paver and Lucy (Ford) Paver. I have read that a coat of arms for the Paver family is located in a west window of a Sherburn Church, containing three flour-de-lis with a chevron between them. My mother's maiden name was Violet Paver, and she is currently 91- years-old. My grandfather, Frederick Paver, was a brick-layer, and he moved to Chicago, IL in the early 1900's. I understand that there is also the gravestone of a William Paver at your church cemetery. Thank you very much for any assistance you might offer. Best Regards, Debra Quay
