Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

My name is Andy, and I live in Rugeley, staffordshire. I have been doing some digging of my own family. My mother, Margery (Died 29/10/1990) was born in Kirkby Overblow in 1929, had two sisters, Joan and Patricia, and one brother, Norman. Her father (my grandfather) was Leonard Howard, who married Mary Ann Gill, whose father was Samuel Gill (Married to Mary J Gill), and from the 1891 census, had one brother, Fred, and two sisters named Florence and Mabel. I am still digging at the moment, so if you have any information, it would be nice. The only reason I found Mary Ann's name was by my travelling to Kirkby Overblow last year and going through the parish record (Marriages) inside the church. Before that, I wasn't sure what Mary Ann's maiden name was (one of the poor things about the census, no maiden name). Anyway, hope to hear from you soon Andy Cowley
