Thomas Hawes Patrick was my 2 x Great Uncle his brother Parlet Patrick was my 2 x Great Grandfather Thomas was Baptised on 10 December 1812 at St Johns in Barnby to parents Parlet and Mary (nee Barrett) Parlet was a local farmer He was the youngest of 5 children He married Mary Ann Reynolds on 5 May 1835 in St Lukes Church Chelsea London having fled there on an elopment as Mary's parents disapproved. They soon returned to Suffolk to live once they were married and brought up 8 childre in North Cove and Lowestoft until returning to Barnby in 1891 where he spent his last days and was buried in 1895
