Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

My husband and I visited your area to do some family research and spent a week visiting local villages Churches and researching in the Records Office. I am trying to trace William Marquiss, my 4th great grandfather, without success. He married Prudence Prideaux 17 March 1782 in Braunton but farmed at Rumsam. Maybe this is his grave or that of his son, also named William. Thank you in advance, I really do appreciate your efforts. Kind regards, Andrea Roper
