i have an old brick wall looking for my great grandfather thomas douglas /b. 1806 errol perth -1852 i have no idea if his birth clues - 1851 census edinburgh are real or not - he only had daughters so no male line to help - eldest ? natural daughter euphemia was 6 when he married euphemia mckinlay 1919 kirkcaldy fife - so even that naming pattern was mucked - he was spirit merchant 1849 102 nicholson st. trade directory edinburgh - died 1852 newington cemetry - they came to adelaide australia 1861 to see the mothers brother robert mckinlay -next daughter my great grandmother jessie to melbourne married adolph brockhoff germany- 2 girls went to zealand the euphemia had no kids - its a big impossible mess - i think i'll be dead before i solve it !!!! i will be so grateful for any help or ideas i can try cheers kerry NSW Australia
