Elsie married George Murray Shaw Lindsay (1893-1977)- he is my 2nd cousin 2xremoved. His father, Alexander Lindsay (1859-1918) was the son of Margaret McPherson, a younger sister of my great great grandfather, James McPherson (1828-1911.) James McPherson emigrated to Victoria, Australia in 1855 with his wife,Mary (nee Taylor); her father, and their 3 young children, William, Catherine and James jr. James and Mary had 3 more Melbourne-born children, the eldest being my great grandfather, David Cameron McPherson. I have done my genealogy/family history on the Australian site of Ancestry, using of course the daughter sites in the UK and America. Thank you for your fine efforts re this work.
