This monument appears to be the marker for my Great Great Grandfather and Grandmother George Shapland and Ann Somer of Tawstock who were married in 1839. George was the son of George Shapland and Charity Dullam of Tawstock, Barnstaple, England who are the farthest back in our family geneology that we have are currently aware. I would like to add the photograph to the family geneology information kept by my uncle. I think he would be very happy to add it to the collection of information he has been able to pull together for our family history. Sincerely, Charles Shapland Champaign, IL. USA
