Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

Peter Ewart is one of my ancestors, via my grandmother Violet Louise Ewart who married Henry Spry. They lived in Australia, as I do now. Violet's mother was killed in a tragic accident, and she was brought up by two aunts. Violet later became a well-known classical pianist who played solo with several orchrestras around the world. She visited Scotland and started our family tree to which I'm now continuing, using a number of prints of the original portraits of the Ewart family which Violet had collected. I look forward very much to receiving the image of the Peter Ewart grave. It saves me a trip to Scotland! Regards, Julie Spry
