My wife and I recently were In Edinburgh and found the Grave Site of Alexander Sutherland. I took pictures of the Head Stone. On returning to Canada my pictures were erased by accident. I would appreciate it if you could send me a picture of the Head Stone. Thank You for your time.

I am grateful for the hard work that so many people who are able put into gathering these images. My 2x great-aunt's father was this Alexander Sutherland who died in 1831, and I'm wondering what else on on the tombstone. Thank you so very much for this great service. Greg Ramstedt

There is a possibility that he may be my 3rd great grandfather, Alexander Sutherland, b. 5 May 1790, d. after 1825. He was a bookbinder. I have a great deal of information about him up until 1826 when he disappears from public records. Thank you for your wonderful, unselfish work and kind offer to people like me, located 5,000 miles from home (Edinburgh) for the past 60 years. Sincerely, Norman R. Sutherland
