Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

F/Sgt Hugh Hay was killed in action on July 26th 1943 near Hoofddorp Holland. I live in Holland, very close to the crash location of his plane, a Mosquito MkVI of the RCAF 418Sq at Ford Aerodrome. For many years i lay flowers for F/Sgt Hay and his navigator F/O. John Seymour. I would love to know more about F/Sgt Hay, i am friends with F/O. Seymours next of kin. We lay flowers tomorrow for both brave airmen bc the family of F/O. Seymour is with me know for a visit in Holland.
