Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

James was the brother of my great grandfather, Charles Clifford. They were born in Derby in 1876 and 1878. James moved to Grimsby in the 1890s and became a fisherman. Charles joined the Navy in 1891 aged 15 and spent most of his career in Portsmouth.
