Genealogy research. George & Janet Whyte were my 4x great grandparents. This is the first time I have found information concerning the whereabouts of their remains. Their last child, a son named Moses, born 14 Oct 1804 was my immigrant ancestor. I suspect that George RUTOP82 323564 134 may be their son. I am still looking for more info on his father who I have as Walter, born 1727 Scotland. Shelley

My 3x great grandfather was born Moses Whyte on 14 Oct 1804 in Barony, Lanark, Scotland. Rutherglen is where his father Walter Whyte was born, served as bailie(according to the marriage registry), and married on 26 May 1758. It seems highly likely that this is Walter's son, George & his wife whom we know to have been Janet (Jonet on their marriage registry). Seeking confirmation & a photograph would be lovely as well. Thank you.
