Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

I hope and believe that this the gravestone of my paternal grandfather. He was quite a well known man in the Stockton area and I am trying to get as much information as possible. He was a building contractor who erected a secondary school at Nelstonter??? Can't seem to find any info! Also built a large grain warehouse at Corporation Quay. Thank you very much in anticipation.
