father of Jane OtterBorn in Grayingham Sept 12 1803. His parents were Robert Otter and Ann nee Whattam. He was a miller and baker in Brigg. His siblings were Robert b 1799, Ann b 1800 and John b 1801. Robert married Jane Proudly in 1798 and had 4 children in Kirton in Lindsey. He was a butcher. Ann Otter m George Tomlinson in 1828 at Grayingham John married Frances Otter in 1829 and had a son,George in 1830 but John was transported to Tasmania for sheep stealing in 1835.
Mary Otter
mother of Jane OtterMary Otter nee Cox was born in North Kelsey to John and Mary Cox. She married William Otter at North Kelsey 1827. They had 8 children 2nd and 7th died as infants. They lived at Bridge Steet, Scawby for most of their lives.
