family history.Williams Laslies wife, Ruth Laslie (nee Manchester) daughter of Isaac Manchester was a relative. William was a Shipwright and builder. I found his will leaving everything to his two daughters, Esther and Ruth. I know in 1824 he was living in Ellison place and that later by the 1851 census his nephew Ratcliffe Thomas Manchester owned no 1 Ellison place. I am trying to fill in the blanks. If this helps anyone else please pass it on.
