Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

Hello, I am researching the manners tree, my grandmother Marjorie (nee manners) Sapseid used to talk about an uncle that lived Hong Kong and died during WW2. The information I have so far is: Charles Manners O.B.E. Major (Retired). He was married twice, the second time to Agnes Moran C1930 in Shanghai. He was interred at the the Kowloon Hotel (WW2) and died of malnutrition. It looks like he is burred at the Stanley Military Cemetery, Hong Kong - GRP grave number 2506 Charles Manners had one sister, Beatrice, and two brothers, Allen and William. William was my great grandfather. Thank you for your help and time.
