Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

I attended St Deiniol's Church in the 1950's and also the local Cannon Drew C of E Primary School. Baden Powell was the Cannon at St Deiniol's at the time. I was friends with the daughter of the Warden of St Deiniol's Library (a theological college and the repository of W E Gladstone's library) at the time and used to meet Cannon Baden Powell on a social level quite frequently. I am compiling my family history and this information was one of the interesting bye ways that I have come across.
