We think he owned Friar's Farm next to the church...His will of 22 pages is on-line on Norfolk Sources...His son was John Thomas Fryer also in the churchyard and his will is on Norfolk Sources he died 1848...His only child was Ellen Fryer or 'Miss Fryer' in 1883 was third largest landowner in Morningthorpe...She lived most of her life in Brighton and died in 1915...Seems she lived in an hotel of the proceeds of the inherited Estate...There may be a monument in the church saying she wanted to be buried in Norfolk.

One of my kin. Thomas Fryer is listed in such as White's Directory as Thomas Fryer Gentleman..He was a big landowner in Morningthorpe..I think his farm was next to the church ie Friar's Farm...His will is on "Norfolk Sources" online ie Probate of Thomas Fryer and runs to 22 pages...His only child and son was John Thomas Fryer died 1848...His daughter was Ellen Fryer also a big landowner who spent most of her time living in a hotel we think in Brighton..She never married and seems to have lived off the inherited Estate?? There may be a monument to her in the actual church as it says she died in Brighton but wanted to be buried in Norfolk...
